I decided to come up with this article post because one of my online student inform me that the formal way of generating iframe code for facebook like box from facebook developer page (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-box-for-pages) is no more working. As you can also see in the picture above and quote below
With the release of Graph API v2.3, the Like Box plugin is deprecated and will stop working on June 23rd 2015. Use the new Page Plugin instead. The Page Plugin allows you to embed a simple feed of content from a Page into your websites.
Now let me explain to you, how you can easily add a facebook like box to your blog without visiting facebook developer page to generate code.
#1. Login To Blogger blog Account.
#2. Click Layout
#3: Click Add A Gadget. (as seen in picture below)
#5. Paste The Following Code In content Box . (as seen in picture below)
<iframe src=”//www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?href=http://www.facebook.com/cedisarena&width=292&height=258&colorscheme=light&show_faces=true&border_color&stream=false&header=false&” style=”border:none; overflow:hidden; width:292px; height:258px;” >
NB: Replace my facebook page URL (http://www.facebook.com/cedisarena) with your page URL, Change Width and Height According To Your Template.
#6: Now save and you are done.
Voula! Now, Visit your Blogs to see the facebook like box at the right side of your blog 🙂
Enjoy Guys!!! More to come on OLAMOSH.NET
