Information Communication Technology (ICT) has since its inception helped in diverse ways in accessing and disseminating information.
In spite of the numerous benefits derive from ICT, most corporate entities, schools and even governmental agencies are still engaged in manual and traditional ways of admitting and propagating information.

In view of this, the Ghana Technology University College as part of their corporate social responsibility has provided free ICT training for 30 superior and 10 subordinate officers of the Ashanti Regional Prison Service. The gesture is to help the officers acquire knowledge in ICT to enable them have quick access to information for dissemination.
