Hahaha! guys, am still in India cooling my brain off with some Yas Raj & Venus movies 🙂 . Two weeks ago i featured one of the most inspiring India Pro Blogger & Internet Entrepreneur Atish Ranjan of techtricksworld.com on this blog, if you miss the CHAT, kindly check it out before leaving.
In the nineteenth century, the central moral challenge was slavery. In the twentieth century, it was the battle against totalitarianism. We believe that in this century the paramount moral challenge will be the struggle for gender equality around the world.
Should ‘Women in Tech’ be grant overt recognition and applaud? is a article I published on this blog few months ago. The world is now more sensitive to issues of gender equality than ever before. Granting overt recognition to female tech bloggers is one thing that can be hardly seen in the blogosphere because the tech & blogging niche is not a niche that newbie can easily gain authority, almost all blogging topics has been covered. Much creativity is needed to excel.
Most Female bloggers prefer entertainment, news, health niche to tech & blogging niche. My friend Kabenlah once asked a question that “why are Female Bloggers better than Male Bloggers?“. This is a blog post question that brings the whole bloggers in the blogosphere to his blog to share their view and it is very obvious that Money isn’t the main focus for most female bloggers but instead delivering quality contents with passion 🙂 . This quick money making factor is what leads to many male blogger failure and stands as an advantage for female bloggers.
The riskiest thing we can do is just maintain the status quo. Status quo, you know, is a Latin for ‘the mess we’re in‘.
However, while most female bloggers prefer to maintain the STATUS QUO by only exploring the ENTERTAINMENT, GOSSIP, HEALTH, SELF DEVELOPMENT niche, there is one beautiful female blogger (Shiwangi Shrivastava) who choose to DISRUPT THE STATUS QUO by going offensive to explore the BLOGGING & TECH niche 🙂
Aspiring female bloggers need to not just be told that BLOGGING & TECH NICHE is a great niche choice, but to also be shown living breathing successful role models they can aspire to or emulate and this is the reason why i choose to feature Shiwangi Shrivastava on this blog TODAY. Her blog pensitdown.com is really doing great in the blog-o-space with good amount of engagement & $$. hmmm, hope you know what i mean by $$$ ? 🙂

Yep, Pensitdown is my only and first blog. Many people consider my blog name it is pen-sit-down but the big reveal is that its pens-it-down. I remember when I was asked by Atish for choosing domain name. The first name triggered on my head was ‘writeart’ which was already available and the second name was ‘pensdown’ the same with that and finally third name ‘pensitdown’. Atish also appreciated this and now this means a lot to me more than domain name.

The New Generation of Indian Bloggers is venturing into “Blogging & Tech Niche”, what is your view on this?
You know these days blogging is one of the hot and happening career options. Many of the people like engineers or other professional not only making their career in blogging but also giving up their stable career to remain in the happening career option blogging.
I find blogging also very endearing spot for the rejuvenation, for the feel good factor and also good source of income if dedication and patience persist. So if new generation is moving towards it then we should appreciate but if they do not outgrow their net addiction rather than focusing on work.
Every blog is tech out here and frankly speaking all tech blogs are alike and they are over-crowded (lol). However, you cannot deny the fact that tech blog is doing well in making good figure of income through Affiliate Marketing.
Your blog articles are very informative & Educative, Can you share with us, how you create content or the secret behind your blog articles?
When it comes to write on the topic like writing and blogging, which are my most favorite topics so I feel it from within as if it dwells in my blood. I do not indulge in more research while targeting my favorite topics. However, when it comes to write on that topic which is not my interest, well in that case basic research keeps my pen moving forward.
If you ask the secret behind my article then it is a deep bond between my mind and soul. It is the basic formula I apply for my every article. My joy and pride for my work keeps my spirit alive for my writing.
When starting your blog (pensitdown.com), did you ever expect it to grow to where it is today?
Literally I will be entitled with such question I did not expect. It is a matter of proud for me but I feel my blog needs to grow to certain peak yet. Lot of stuffs are in pipeline. I hope that my blog attain more recognization and more visitors (fingers crossed).
What are the methods you use in driving traffic to your blog?
From very few days back I started to take note on keywords. Otherwise, I was enjoying writing with freedom as keywords restrict your wish to write in a desirable flow. I have seen drastic growth in my traffic through commenting and sharing my regular post to social media sites.
Can you share with us, the challenges you face in the blogosphere as a female tech blogger?
First of all, I want to mention that my blog covers multiple topics like writing tips, blogging, tech and many more sections. Female always rocks if they work consistently but due to the other priorities of life, she cannot able to extract a good from herself.
New tech blogs are coming everyday so the competition in this is tremendous. I really wonder in the over-crowded tech blog how people get an edge for their respective blog. That is why I started other sections to stand apart from others
