Vine is no longer just for mobile. Twitter’s six-second video app has come to the Web.
Users can now log in to vine.co to watch videos from their laptops and desktop computers. This means they can also like, comment, revine and share videos as well as browse through their favorite users’ Vine profiles.
Also new to Vine is TV mode, which is available only to Web users. By clicking the TV Mode button in the upper right corner, either of one’s own feed or the profiles of others, users can view videos both in sequence as well as in full screen mode.
Vine, which has about 40 million registered users, allows users to effortlessly post and share short clips. It is available for the iPhone and iPod touch as well as for Android.
Vine was acquired by Twitter in January, before its official launch, for an undisclosed sum.
