Put out a call for those within your target market to participate in a focus group because this gives you the chance to have direct interaction with those you want to reach with your products and it gives them the chance to state what kinds of products they want to see more of on the market.

After you have done the initial research, you can hire a marketing consultant to look over your research and gather additional research fir your advertising efforts. Hire a consultant that has at least five years of experience and that understands your target market. He should also be easy to get along with and operate in a professional manner.
