MTN has launched the third edition of its Internet Festival dubbed (IFest) to drive awareness to enhance the use of the internet and data usage in the country.
The festival would be a month-long campaign which would be interspersed with Data Clinics, a nation-wide tour of regional capitals and tertiary institutions aimed at educating and activating data for customers.
Also planned for the festival will be a three-day fair at the Accra International Conference Centre that would focus on showing the various data and device offerings available to the general public.
A team is also expected to embark on sales and data education focusing on areas with Third Generation (3G) availability with specific targets on places where 3G utilisation is very low, such as Elmina and Yamoransa in the Central Region.
A Data Clinic train will be setup; this will move from city to city with the aim of educating and activating data settings for users.
